My name is Hansi Kaintz and I live in the very eastern region of Austria, called "Seewinkel". This is part of Pannonian Plain, where we have wonderful mediterranean climate with about 300 days of sun a year. Our area is rich of fruits, wine and treasure of nature ... so it became Unesco World Heritage Site. Lake Neusiedl is not only Europe's third largest lake, but also the biggest steppe lake in Europe. We are proud to live close to Austrias only steppe national park with it's wonderful bird reserve ..... In keeping with nature it does not wonder that I always had a close bond to my animals and pets. But it's not only the deep love to my faithful companions, they teached me regardeful handling as well as taking care and responsibility for a very long time. No matter if they are chickens, bunnies, dogs or cats. I always loved to take care of them, and of course, they had been very thankful and spent me their confidence.      As I was a little boy I dealt with pigeons. I watched them and practiced to handle with care.  When I grew up I worked as a master-builder, so precision and esthetic had always been push and part of my life. Obviously I slipped in this request in my pigeons breeding program.  Breeding strong, healthy and instinktively pigeons is my intention. This needs perfect standards of hygiene, high-quality food and last but not least regular training. So they kleep their sense of orientation as well as their physical fitness also for long distances. And I am pretty proud: success gives me right! Wonderful genes, well-considered matings and at least my decades of experience may built these amazing creatures, so my close international contacts help me with fresh bloodlines. One of my closest breederfriend over many, many years - Erwin Lehner from Andau (Bgld) - helped me starting and building my foundation with words and deeds and preparing my way to become a good breeder. Josef Königshofer from Neusiedl am See, had always been a honest advisor to me and I enjoy all the fruitful discussions with this breederfriend. As my mentor he prepared the ground to my outstanding successes. Must not forget to tell that I got very special and high-quality breeding doves from  Fam.Eijerkamp,  Gea & Pieter Veenstra and Jan & Kathi Lotterman, they alle are worldwide responsible leaders in pigeon sport. Pigeon sport and it's convival gatherings caused some new (and close) friendships, which go beyond our common hobby. Over the years I collected lots of genetic  "know how" , but  also a "bit of luck"  was a good partner. In common with strict housing conditions and indispensible love to my pigeons made me, what I am: very successful. And - of course - I am thankful and proud about this!
